#03: How to Add Custom Web Fonts to Your Site

In Episode 3 of MDTV, Alex walks you through 2 different methods of adding custom web fonts to your site while keeping the performance of your site in mind.
To best follow this tutorial, be sure your site is running the latest version of Marketers Delight and also has an active child theme running.
Topics covered:
- Adding custom web fonts from Google Fonts (Method #1)
- Adding custom web fonts with @font-face (Method #2)
- The decision process of only choosing font weights your site needs
- How to use Inspector tools to see how many web fonts your pages load
Super helpful Alex. I now have this training to refer to if I want to change the font on my homepage, etc. Thanks bro!
Hi Alex,
Just one suggestion. As you did another post that covers new features for google fonts (since 2018 I believe) it is better to delete this video or at least put a link to this new post. It will save time and will be less confusing ๐ This new functionality is really cool and saves time. Above one for non-coders as me is a bit confusing ๐
Regards,
Michal
Great suggestion Michal! I will be cleaning up this videos section as I release the Video Gallery Dropin into MD core and I will be sure to take your suggestion into mind.
I hope you were able to learn something in the meantime and achieve what you wanted!
