The Apple of WordPress? Sounds good to me

I think when you turned MD into its own thing, independent of other frameworks, that was your best, and dare I say, ballsy move. It allowed all sorts of freedom of direction without any baggage. Almost like Apple making their own chips after moving away from Intel.

This is a true throwback comment and a true O.G. user. The reference is that prior to MD5.0, we were built as a skin on the legendary Thesis Theme, where I grew a lot of my web design chops way back in the day.

Now with a free theme, it makes that move feel even bigger and really amps up what it means to "go fully independent."
