- Developers: Adds hook
md_hook_after_headlineafter the main title is printed out to Stream posts
Stream gives your site a Stream post type with its own archive, categories and a Timeline layout, so short posts read as a feed instead of a list of articles.
Write a quick update, embed a post you’ve already published, or let the Stream add an entry for you when you publish something new. Any post can be extended with follow-up updates, so a story can unfold in one place.

Short-post timeline
Post short updates to a Timeline archive, with embedded posts as cards.
A Timeline for Short Posts
Stream gives your site a timeline of short posts, so quick updates read as a running feed instead of a list of articles.

Stream posts live in their own archive with categories and a Timeline layout. Each entry shows who posted it and when, and the archive header can show your post and like counts.
Any post you’ve already published can be embedded in a Stream post as a card, so a short note can point to something longer.
- Its own archive and categories
- A Timeline layout for the archive
- Embedded posts shown as cards
Threads That Grow With the Story
Any Stream post can grow into a thread, so a story can unfold in one place as new updates come in.

Each update can have a title, text, an image with its width and position, and an embedded post, so a follow-up can be as short as a sentence or as full as a post of its own.
- Updates show beneath the parent post
- Each update also gets its own page
- Listings show a “Show thread (N)” link on posts that have updates
