How to Install Your MD Starter Theme (Child Theme)

Since your child theme inherits the properties of the MD parent theme, you can customize its code without breaking the parent themes functionality.

The Marketers Delight (parent) Theme should be installed and activated before proceeding.

Install via WordPress admin:

1. Login to your Marketers Delight account to download the MD Starter Theme 2.0 file. Do not unzip.

2. Login to your WP admin and go to Appearance → Themes → Add New and follow the theme installation screen.

3. After you have successfully installed the MD Starter Theme (Child Theme), activate it to complete the installation.

Install your Child Theme via FTP or files editor:

1. Login to your Marketers Delight account to download the MD Starter Theme 2.0 file. Unzip file to reveal the MD Child folder.

2. Connect to your FTP or login to cPanel Files Manager.

3. Navigate to the WordPress themes folder in: {your_wp_directory}/wp-content/themes/ and upload the md child folder.

Congrats, your MD Starter Theme (Child Theme) is now running on your site!
